A few things we've found around the farm...
Embroidered Framed Bird |
Can you still clean with products this old? |
Saucers |
Ruler; it's about 4 inches wide...for measuring feet, maybe? There are also a lot of cobblers' tools around. We think the family my have served as cobblers in the community. |
Croquet! Now all we need is a lawn that isn't buried in 4 feet of snow! |
Parts of a box of "dry shod" line the back of the basement staircase. |
Whiskey Jugs. I guess "Ire" and "Lousey" were good enough to be named...but what about the middle bottle... |
Meat saws. |
A crate door found in the basement. It says "Wabash Railway." | http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:1887_Wabash_cover.jpg |
Meat hook! |
Add caption |
Rum bottle. |
This says "Water" down the side... |
We love to see what you are doing and what you have discovered! Your photography and captions are so interesting! Can you send me the photo of the tricycle? I want to paint it. Also, the saucers photo needs to be printed! We are amazed at what you have done and how you seem to be all around the farm. I am completely convinced this was the right purchase for you!
