April

Jeni and Steve bought the Grange.  Here it is before it undergoes the long restoration process!

Steve may be afraid of heights, but the Grange is worth it!

True Mainers in the farm kitchen.

Lobster tails on the BBQ--nothing like it!

Justin and Steve check out the well status at the Grange...note the amount of scraping done on the Grange!

Freshly Scraped

Behind the Grange, Steve pulls out treasures.

Parts of an old sleigh from below the Grange.

Other "under-the-Grange" finds.

Darn, I don't think there's anything left in this delicious looking can of cola.

Feathers.

Bottle from the Grange.

Another bottle!

Justins big project for April Break was restoring windows.  He was meticulous.

Prepping for paint.

Scraped window, ready for glass.

Steve helps Justin put a beam up in the basement to support the bathroom floor.

With no arms to defend himself, Steve is able to show Justin how much he loves him.

Spring temperatures!

Bob, the scrap metal guy pays a visit to our farm and the Grange.  JACKPOT for Bob!

Bob clears out the old appliances.

Barn before.  One of my projects was organizing this barn.

Barn before.

Barn before--full of mixed up treasures.

Stuff in the barn.

Another night in the kitchen.  Tired workers!

Steve prepares the "death solution" to spray under the Grange for Powder Post Beetles.

That's nasty stuff!

Mr. Hazmat suit.

Justin's completed window, ready to dry in the warm house.

Look how beautiful it is!

A little more cleaning...

Prius as pickup truck again.

Love this car!

We discovered a direct path from our property to the Saco River.  What a find!

Saco River

Steve and Justin prepare to remove the washer/dryer.  The first step in the bathroom remodel.  Hooray!

Prepping for the lift.

Such strong gentlemen they are!

Well, it opens up the bathroom a bit...and lets us see the lovely walls!

Fabulous purchase from the antique store is this framed piece.  It will find a good home.
